Introducing Glint & Grain: A New Brand from Kris Nature
We are happy to share something new: the Kris Nature studio is launching Glint & Grain by Kris Nature — an independent designer jewelry brand. Glint & Grain brings together our own studio designs and carefully selected pieces from trusted makers, all under one name and one promise: honest materials, clearly labeled. Going forward, you will see Glint & Grain more and more across our collections, packaging, and pages.
The Name and the Mark
Glint is the flash of light that moves across a polished stone — the living line you see when an agate eye catches the sun. Grain is the earth itself: the layered bands, veins, and textures formed inside the stone over geological time. Light on the surface, story from the earth.
Our mark carries the same idea. The sphere is inspired by banded agate — the silky, ribbon-like layers of natural silk agate, drawn in warm earth tones from deep rust to pale cream. Each flowing band is a horizon of the earth's own making, and no two stones ever share the same grain. The small star at the edge is the glint: that one flash of light that brings the stone to life.
The Glint & Grain mark: banded agate layers in earth tones, with a small star — the glint of light on natural grain.
A Second Mark: The Agate Eye
Alongside the banded sphere, Glint & Grain carries a second emblem: the agate eye. It is drawn from the natural "eyes" that form inside banded agate — and echoes the eye motifs of Tibetan Dzi beads, which Himalayan tradition has long associated with clear seeing and watchful protection.
You will find this mark across our Silk Agate and Dzi collections — wherever the stone itself carries an eye.
One Brand, Every Collection
Glint & Grain carries all Kris Nature product series — Silk Agate, Mongolian Dzi, Tibetan Style, Handmade Cord, and Aromatics. Some pieces are designed in our studio; others are hand-selected by our team from the wider market for their material quality and character. Whichever they are, every piece follows the same honest labeling you already know:
- Silk Agate — natural, untreated banded agate with silky internal layers.
- Mongolian Dzi — natural stone, crafted shape.
- Tibetan Style — traditional craft: hand-drawn patterns and artisan-treated patina, always honestly labeled.
- Handmade Cord — hand-woven cotton and wax cords.
- Aromatics — pure natural incense, agarwood, and sandalwood.
What This Means for You
- Kris Nature is not going away. It remains the studio behind the brand — you will simply see Glint & Grain as the name on the collections.
- The website stays the same. Our store remains at krisnature.com; your bookmarks, links, account, and order history all continue to work.
- Same standards. Natural is still labeled natural; traditional craft is still labeled as craft. One item, one photo, where stated.
- Orders and support are unaffected. Everything you have purchased, and everything you will, is backed by the same studio.
